Our own Mike Eastman, Director of Imaging for Derry Imaging, was one of several area business people who took part in a recent roundtable sponsored by the NH Business Review. The subject was the issues facing the region’s employers.
With an increase in premiums for employers and the higher deductibles employees are now paying, Eastman says businesses need to look more toward healthcare providers such as Derry Imaging to keep those costs down.
“We provide the same quality images compared to a hospital at 40 to 70 percent less,” Eastman says. “If we spend less on healthcare, then those premiums go down. Companies then use that to reduce future premium costs so they can refund it back to their employees.”
